Проблемы переоснащения тактического ядерного оружия в Европе: новый виток “холодного” противостояния?

Аннотация


В статье рассматривается отношение членов НАТО и России к объявленной американской программе модернизации тактического ядерного оружия в Европе. Оружие, которому в предыдущее десятилетие придавалось исключительно символическое значение,в 2000-х гг. оказалось в центре дискуссии в НАТО между «новыми» и «старыми» членами альянса, а также в качестве средства давления на российскую сторону в ходе двусторонних переговоров о разоружении. В ходе исследования автор статьи анализирует значение тактического ядерного оружия для европейских членов НАТО, а также изучает причины выделения средств в США на его модернизацию. В работе предпринимается попытка оценить угрозы для России в связи с модернизацией тактического ядерного оружия в Европе.
